dlcimages & photographs

There are times when I look through a camera lense to see the world. My artist self loves to collect things = stones, bits of rusted metal, driftwood etc. I also like to collect texture, light, tone, mood and I do this with my digital camera. My photograph collection inspires by creative work. It helps me consider shape and texture. It helps me create a dialogue between me and the world.

evolution of a photograph

I started with a photograph of broom taken at Muir Creek just west of where I live. Broom is an invasive plant that crowds out native plants such as wild roses however it's yellow flower is very beautiful.
